Equip the Crab Carcass before you cast — the bait decides the pool, not where you stand. Selling is done by throwing the catch into a shopkeeper's mouth (hold the interact key), so a full inventory is the usual reason a run stalls.
An early-game catch. Its job is to fund the next lure rather than to be a payday, so do not spend a long time farming it once you can afford the next tier.
