Known issues & fixes
Built by reading the Steam discussion board — 1,050 threads were collected and sorted to find what players actually hit, and each page below gives the community's answer where one exists.
We mark every page with what we know. If there is a verified player fix, it says so. If the cause is understood but there is no recovery, it says that. If nobody has solved it, it says no confirmed fix yet — we would rather tell you nothing than have you follow made-up steps and lose a save.

Protect your save before you try anything
Several of these bugs can cost you gear or money, and the fixes are player-reported rather than official. Before experimenting, copy this folder somewhere safe:

Patch 1.0.11 added corruption checks and automatic backups, and patch 1.0.12 moved saves into Steam Cloud — but the developer has not documented where the automatic backups live, so a manual copy is still the only recovery path you fully control.

The two other places worth checking are the co-op page if it is about joining a friend, and the island route if you are stuck on progression rather than a bug. For anything else, the Steam discussion board is where the reports are.
