How to Fish has 28 achievements. Most are straightforward; the hard ones are the one-hour run, Fishipedia (catch the super variant of every fish) and Handyman (finish the final boss with your fists).

1 First Catch Collect 3 clams and hand them to the old man. Buy the basic rod for $3, catch any creature, then kill it.
2 Super Catch a super creature (the bite prompt goes rainbow) and kill it.
3 Who Stole My Beer? Buy a beer for 12 coins, give it to the old man, take the empty can back.
4 Noob Kill any creature with no score multipliers active.
5 Upgrade Buy the Radar, follow the green marker to the next island, save $230 and buy the boat upgrade.
6 Oppity Niputya Die and do not press respawn until a seagull picks you up.
7 Time to Eat Collect 3 leeches on the forest island, hand them over, then catch and kill the boss.
8 Amazing Kill a creature while chaining multipliers (360, headshot, no-scope, mid-air…) up to x5.
9 Grill Party Buy the desert-island boss lure, catch the shark, hand the body to the NPC by the grill to unlock cooking.
10 GOLD GOLD GOLD Feed super fish or boss trophies into the slot machine. The first boss shell is the easiest.
11 360 No Scope Spin a full turn and shoot without aiming. Easiest with shotgun or sniper; a laser sight helps.
12 Vacation Trade rare fish to the tourist for the lure, then kill the Pufferfish boss.
13 Fully Loaded Fit every attachment to one weapon (~$2,500): compensator, laser, red dot, extended mag, plus upgraded bullets.
14 I Am Speed Buy the level-2 boat upgrade on the 4th island ($860, in the barn).
15 Yummy Yum Yum Burn a fish completely on the grill, then eat it.
16 Terrifying Bird Catch the Tuna mini-boss with a professional lure, kill it, leave the carcass out and wait for the seagull.
17 Deadly Catch Trade 5 creatures to the hazard-suit NPC for the bait, then catch the whale.
18 We Are Back Carry the whale carcass to the volcano summit, drop it in, and beat the final boss.
19 All In Bet a fish on the green x35 roulette sector on one of the last two islands.
20 Who Eats Whom Eat any mini-boss.
21 Like a Bird in the Sky Throw dynamite under the boat.
22 Easy Peasy Buy a proper weapon and kill the first boss instantly.
23 Collector Catch every fish with its matching lure. Best done on the final island, where all baits are available. Supers not required.
24 Millionaire Bet a fish worth 3k+ on the green roulette sector, win, then sell it.
25 Everyone's Dream Climb the volcano and blow up the seagull as it closes in — or bait it with a fish carcass plus dynamite.
26 Handyman Take the final boss down to minimum HP with weapons, then finish it with your fists.
27 Fishipedia Catch the super variant of every fish. Cast further; if the notification is not rainbow, release and recast.
28 Bean Finish the whole game in under one hour. 1) Farm $60 on clams, buy knife/rod/beer, kill boss. 2) 3 leeches, dynamite, shotgun, boss. 3) Rare fish for the tourist, boss. 4) Professional lures, ~9k, tuna then seagull. Final: scientific lure, ~16k, dynamite for the hazmat trade, grill snails, whale then magma whale.

The three that actually stop people

Bean
Finish the entire game in under one hour. There is a full route in the table above, and it is the achievement with the most community guides written about it.
Fishipedia
Catch the super variant of every fish — the bite prompt turns rainbow when it is a super. Cast further to raise your odds; if the notification is not rainbow, release and cast again.
Handyman
Take the final boss down to minimum HP with weapons, then land the last hit with your fists. Much easier with a co-op partner who can revive you.
