Lost your Radar in the middle of the sea

The Radar disappears while you are sailing — often right after a reload — leaving you no way to find the next island. The Radar does not occupy an inventory slot, which is how it gets lost.

What is actually going on

Players report the Radar despawning mid-voyage and after reloads. There is a replacement available, and it is very easy to walk past.

What to try

  1. Look on the ground under the island signposts. A Radar is for sale leaning against the shop post beneath the signs — two players confirmed this independently.
  2. Buy and equip it and carry on. You usually do not have to restart the save.
  3. Reloading the game resets you to the nearest island, so if you are truly lost at sea that is your way back to land.
  4. Players are asking the developer for a dedicated Radar inventory slot. That is the real long-term fix and it is not in yet.
